Eric Bowyer

Bowyer (Ballycastle – Armoy) Eric, 18th August 2024, surrounded by his loving family, loving husband of Theresa and much loved father of Lorri & Daniel, and devoted grandfather to Ben, George, Daniel, Theo and Niamh, late of 132 Glenshesk, Armoy, BT53 8SA. R.I.P

Eric’s funeral service will take place in Roselawn Crematorium on Friday 23rd August at 10:00a.m. Wake will commence from Wednesday 21st at his late residence from 12 noon, all callers welcome, parking is available at 135 Glenshesk Rd.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, son, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law, daughter-in-law and the entire family circle.

On his soul, sweet Jesus have mercy.

Joseph Hegarty

Hegarty (Ballycastle) Joseph (Joe), 16th August 2024, as the result of an accident, a much loved and adored son of Andrea and Michael, loving brother of Katie, cherished grandson of Denise and Eamon (McIlroy), Mary and Seamus (Hegarty) 28 Atlantic Ave, Ballycastle, BT54 6AL. R.I.P.

Funeral from his late residence on Tuesday 20th August at 11:15am to St. Patrick’s & St. Brigid’s Church, Ballycastle for funeral mass at 12 noon, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Joe’s funeral mass can be viewed via webcam by clicking HERE.

House Strictly Private today, Saturday 17th August, wake will commence from his late residence on Sunday 18th & Monday 19th August 2pm-9pm.

Deeply regretted by his loving father, mother, sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, the entire family circle and the wider community.

N.B. Joe loved Carey and the GAA, he loved colour and all sport. Instead of wearing black, and In honouring Joe’s memory, the family invite you to wear your favourite sports top or colourful clothing to Joe’s wake and funeral.

James McMullan

James McMullan (Ballycastle) passed on 11th August 2024 at the age of 94. He was born on the 23rd September 1929 in Ballymoney. As a young man he moved to England to train as an engineer where he met and married his beloved wife Mary. After a career on the cross channel ferries in Dover, he retired and moved back to his roots in Northern Ireland, relocating to Ballycastle. James will be fondly remembered by his daughter Mandy, son-in-law Sean, his grandson Mark and his great-grandchildren Ryan, Jack, Logan and Lilly, deeply regretted also by his extended family of his siblings, nephews and nieces.

Requiem Mass will take place in St.Patrick’s and St.Brigid’s Church on Friday 16th August 2024 at 10:00am, burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

On his soul sweet Jesus have mercy.

David Sands

Sands (Ballycastle-Belfast) David, died 2nd August 2024 at Causeway Hospital, Coleraine, beloved husband of the late Kathleen, and much loved father of Raymond, David, Michael, Imelda; and Tricia, adored grandfather and great-grandfather, late of 65 The Abbey, Ballycastle, BT54 6SD. R.I.P.

Funeral from his late residence on Wednesday 7th August at 6:00pm to St.Patrick’s and St.Brigid’s Church, Ballycastle for evening prayers. Requiem Mass on Thursday 8th August 2024 at 10:00am with interment afterwards in St.Peter’s The Rock Cemetery, Belfast. David’s Requiem has can be viewed online by clicking HERE.   Wake will commence from Tuesday at noon. All callers welcome.

Deeply regretted by his loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the entire family circle.
