We, the family of the late Mairead Donnelly (Ballycastle), wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement. We are grateful to everyone who called to the house, attended the funeral, sent mass cards, letters and sympathy cards or contacted us personally during this very difficult time. We extend a special word of thanks to all the medical, nursing and administrative staff of the Accident and Emergency and Intensive Care Departments of Causeway Hospital, all of whom provided excellent care and support in Mairead’s last few hours. We wish to thank Fr. Barney for conducting the Requiem Mass and to Katrina Turner, Orla Nugent, Fergal McCarry and the Choir for their beautiful singing during the mass. We wish to acknowledge the tremendous support and help we received during the wake and funeral. A particular word of thanks to the Funeral Directors, PJ Dallat & Sons for carrying out the arrangements in such a caring and dignified manner of their dear friend, Mairead. In addition, we express our thanks to Una McKinley for organising and providing the much needed refreshments in the Crypt after the Requiem Mass. As it would not be possible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.
