Arthur McShane

McShane (Ballycastle) 29th January 2021, Arthur, peacefully at home. Much loved husband of Pauline and loving father to Dolores (Mhic Geidigh), Anne, Paula (Hackett), Frances (O’Connor), Margaret (McCarthy), Louise (McDonnell) and Noeleen (Connolly). Brother of Nicky and the late John, James, Kathleen and Mary, Predeceased by his son-in-law Séamus Mac Geidigh.

Always lovingly remembered by his sons-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sadly due to the current situation and Government restrictions the wake and funeral is strictly private, however those wishing to pay their respects may do so by lining the cortege route whilst adhering to social distancing. MCDOWELL, Moreen, 22nd January 2021, passed peacefully at the Mater Hospital, Beloved Wife to the late Charles. Will be sadly missed by her sorrowing family in England, Portadown and her cousin Norma McShane. R.I.P

McCurdy (Ballycastle) 21st January 2021, Kathleen, beloved wife of the late Sean and much loved mother of Ann, Catherine and the late Joey, granny to her adoring Grandchildren. R.I.P

CLOSE (Armoy) 21st January 2021, James, beloved son of the late Charlie and Mary Anne, 111 Glenshesk Road, Armoy BT53 8RZ R.I.P.  Very deeply regretted by his loving brother Kevin, sister in law Betty, sister Jeannie Mc Grath, nieces, nephews and entire family circle.

R.I.P. Funeral from Dallats Chapel of rest (65 Market St, Ballycatle, BT54 6DS) on Saturday 16th January 2021 to St.Patrick’s & St.Brigid’s Church, Ballycastle for 10:00am Requiem Mass followed by Cremation at Roselawn Cemetary, Belfast. Sadly due to the current Government regulations the funeral is strictly private.

Betty McCaughan

McCAUGHAN (Glenshesk, Ballycastle) 5th January 2021. Betty (nee McNamee). Died peacefully at home. Beloved wife of the late Kevin and much loved mother of Gerard, Kevin Og, Aidan, Niall, Ciarán and the late Eilís and Brian; dear sister of Mollie Grugan, Barney McNamee and Bridie McGinn.

Betty’s Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick’s and St Brigid’s Church, Ballycastle, on Thursday 7th January at 11.00 am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

QUINN (Ballycastle) 4th January 2021, Martin, peacefully at Antrim Area Hospital, surrounded by his son Ryan and daughter in law Tracey, a much loved granda of Daragh, Odhrán and Ceála, 16 Moyle Park, Ballycastle. R.I.P.
Funeral on Friday 8th January 2021 from Dallat’s Funeral Home at 11:45 am to St.Patrick’s and St. Brigids Church for 12 noon Requiem Mass with interment afterwards in St.Marys graveyard, Cushendall. Deeply regretted by his loving son, Lily Ann, Martin, Sinead, Shauna, Mairead and entire family circle.

ROONEY William (Bill) , January 03, 2021, Died peacefully at home in Ballycastle surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Paula and father of Brad, Billy, Ann, Toni and Paul. Grandfather to his eleven grandchildren and great grandchild. You will be loved and sadly missed by all of your family.
